Here's a hand carved tile from the water mural fountain I exhibited at "Gardens in The Sky" benefiting the Atlanta Botanical Gardens at Park Place Atlanta.

I designed two water gardens called "Garden of Art." The two water gardens I created had custom table top water fountains, large ceramic vases, planters and two huge ceramic water murals. Tall, pouring ceramic water vessels were placed in furniture grade water boxes. The ceramic vases all we're glazed and carved to match the mural.
 

I used a funky island theme and cool, colorful tropical plants as a background. I was shocked when my very first water garden mural sold... and turned a few other Park Place residents into customers. Too bad Elton John wasn't one of them... but he didn't move to Park Place till a few years later.

"Gardens in The Sky" jump started me into making ceramic water fountains and tile murals. The best part of the show was meeting my garden guru idol, Jim Wilson, from HGTV. He gave my water mural and ceramics a big plug on Atlanta TV station Channel 5... which resulted in an overwhelming turnout to the show.
